M Performance versions of the BMW M3 and BMW M5 have been announced. Just 30 of each model will be available.
The M3 M Performance edition is priced at £74,080 and the M5 M Performance Edition is £95,140. Both cost around £20,000 more than the standard models. The cars are only available in the UK.
With the two new models brings three new Frozen paint colours, BMW Individual Japan Red with a Frozen Red wrap, BMW Individual Frozen White and BMW Individual Frozen Blue.
The M3 feature an array of extra standard equipment, including 19-inch Matt Black alloys, carbon-fibre front splitters, BMW Professional Media Package and a ‘One of 30’ laser cut into the interior trim, all of which would usually cost £9,790.
It houses the same 420hp V8 engine currently used in the standard M3, producing 420hp and top speed of 155mph. Power is transferred to the road using a seven-speed M DCT gearbox along with a variable M differential.
Along with a performance upgrade which boosts power from 552bhp to 560bhp, the M5 features additional equipment worth £22,075. Highlights include 20-inch M Double-spoke Matt Black alloys, M Sport multi-functioning seats, internet, BMW Professional 12-loudspeaker system and also a ‘One of 30’ laser cut into the interior trim.
Both models are available to order from BMW dealers now.
