Organisers make energy usage of competing cars public

The full results of last weekend's Bright to London RAC Future Car Challenge have been released.

The new Gordon Murray Design T27 electric car won best overall entry at this year’s Future Car Challenge, a 60-mile eco-rally designed to establish the industry’s most fuel-efficient vehicles.

The annual Brighton to London event – inaugurated in 2010 – featured more than 65 super-frugal cars, MPVs and LCVs. Entrants included a Nissan Leaf, Tesla Roadster, Citroen Nemo van and Peugeot 508 e-HDI.
