Sporty styling pack adds aesthetic edge to the generously equipped hot hatch

Seat has revealed a new styling option for the Leon FR+, its well-equipped rival to the Golf GTI and GTD. The Supercopa pack comes from Seat Sport, and is named for the marque's long-running European race series.

Bumpers are modified front and rear, while special side skirts and a larger rear spoiler complete the bodywork changes that are confirmed by 'Supercopa' badging. The FR+'s 18-inch wheels are replaced with BBS alloys of the same size, and there are chrome finishers to the twin exhaust pipes. The kit is available in a range of paint shades including Speed Blue.

Picked as options, Supercopa specification would cost around £3000, but the pack adds just £750 to Leon FR+ prices, which start at £22,530 for the 168bhp TDI with manual six-speed box. A 208bhp 2.0-litre petrol is also available, and either engine can be paired with VW Group's six-speed DSG.

FR+ kit includes five-inch colour sat nav screen, DAB radio, Bluetooth with streaming audio, adaptive xenon headlamps and rear parking aid.
