The facelifted Renault Megane will cost from £16,275 when it goes on sale in April. Top-spec Sport Tourer variants are priced from £22,490.
Three new engines make it to the Megane range and include a 1.2 TCe 115 petrol, 1.5 dCi 110 and the 1.6 dCi 130. Each unit is fitted with stop-start as standard.
The 1.2-litre unit achieves a claimed 53.3mpg and 119g/km CO2, while the diesels achieve 80.7mpg with 90g/km CO2 and 70.6 mpg and 104g/km CO2 emissions respectively. The 1.4 TCe 130 and 2.0 TCe 180 engines are no longer available to order.
External revisions to the fresher-faced Megane include styling tweaks to the front bumper and the addition of LED daytime running lights on Dynamique TomTom models upwards. The Megane’s alloy wheel line-up is also revised.
Inside the car’s cabin, changes include new interior trims - including a leather pack which comes in a choice of two finishes – and GT-Line TomTom models get red stitching, a sports steering wheel and Renaultsport badges on the door sills and dashboard trim as standard.
Renault has also introduced a new New entry-level Expression+ trim level, which gets Bluetooth, USB, and an upgraded stereo system on top of the Expression’s standard kit of 16-inch alloys, air conditioning and front fog lights.
