Most powerful Rolls-Royce to date makes its dynamic debut

Rolls-Royce has given its new Rolls-Royce Wraith a world dynamic debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The Wraith is the fastest accelerating, most powerful car in the Goodwood-based maker's history. Power comes from a 624bhp, 590lb ft V12 engine that endows the Rolls-Royce Ghost-based coupe with 0-60mph performance of 4.4sec. Rolls-Royce claims the Wraith is also its most dynamic and driver-focussed car ever.

Also starring for Rolls-Royce at the 2013 Festival of Speed is its Alpine Trial Centenary Ghost. The special edition celebrates 100 years of Rolls' completing 1800-mile Centenary Alpine Trial.

It can be seen running up the hill throughout the weekend next to the 1913 Radley car that competed in the Alpine Trial 100 years ago. The Ghost special also ran at the Moving Motor Show, alongside the Phantom.

The Phantom Coupé is the course car for this year's Festival of Speed.
